— Our Philosophy
Not just the physical dimensions — but how people live within it, adapt to it, and find meaning in how little they need.
— Origin
“Furniture should disappear into life — not dominate it.”
Founding Principle, 2024
ZITOHOME began as a question: why do compact spaces so often feel like compromises? The furniture available was either too large, too generic, or designed for a different life entirely.
We set out to build a laboratory — not a furniture store. A place where every object is stress-tested against the intelligence of small space living. Where modular means genuinely adaptable, not just foldable.
Rooted in Southeast Asia, where dense urban living has always demanded ingenuity, we are now designing for compact homes everywhere. The problem is universal. The solution should be too.
We believe the future of living is not bigger — it is better considered. And every object we make is a small argument for that idea.
— Design Principles
01
Space as Material
We design with emptiness as intentionally as we design with wood or steel. Every centimetre of negative space is a decision.
02
Objects, Not Furniture
A ZITOHOME piece is not a commodity. It is an object that holds its place — functional, considered, and worth keeping.
03
Modular Intelligence
Living spaces evolve. Our pieces are engineered to reconfigure as your life does — without compromise on form.
04
Less, Better
We make fewer things with more intention. A smaller collection, made right, outlasts a catalogue made fast.
— The Studio
The ZITOHOME Lab is a compact team of designers, material researchers, and spatial thinkers. We operate without a showroom. Our work lives in homes, not in catalogues.
Every decision — from joinery angle to packaging density — is made by someone who has personally lived in a 500 sq ft apartment. That context is irreplaceable.
